This class is a fun, fiery and flowing core strengthening workout you will become addicted to! We combine Pilates mat warmup work with everyone's favorite apparatus - the Reformer + Pilates props. Then find your sweat from the inside out on the Wall Tower and Bodhi Straps in this Springs, Straps and SWEAT class! You will strengthen, lengthen and stretch your way into a long, lean, flexible body while having lots of fun!
No class is ever the same...We mix and match classical and contemporary and keep you flowing seamlessly through various Pilates exercises on the Reformer + Chair + Props (Re:form West Room), and Reformer + Wall Tower + Props (Re:form East Room). You will tone, sweat and transform yourself into a longer, leaner, flexible body while having lots of fun!
An efficient, effective, safe workout for every body...
Appropriate for all levels, however we recommend taking some Re:form School 101 classes (see schedule) if you are brand new to Pilates or coming back after inactivity or injury. Modifications and progressions will be provided, but not appropriate for those with injuries or special needs. (55 minutes, 5-10 max capacity)
Learn to "work the springs" and improve your daily life through better stability and strength!
Learning to work the springs provides a unique opportunity to work all muscles and limbs individually and in tandem, giving you feedback to better understand how your body moves. This understanding will allow you to activate deep into the powerhouse transverse abdominal muscles, finding and correcting imbalances. These improvements in proper core muscle recruitment and development translate to an improved Pilates practice and better posture in general.
