Chantal pursued Pilates training with Body Arts and Science International® or known as BASI® Pilates. Chantal has been teaching with Pilates Napa Valley since she completed her training. She brings her clients attention to the mechanics of their bodies, concentrating on form and breath.
 
In March of 2013, Chantal also completed her BarreAmped® certification and will be teaching in the studio soon!
 

Nancy Good

Pilates Instructor

Nancy is one of our master instructors. She has been teaching with Heidi at Pilates Napa Valley for seven years. Her experience and dedication shows in her instruction and classes. 
 
Nancy offers dynamic classes that are based on the seven Pilates principles: Centering, Concentration, Control, Precision, Breath, Flowing/Efficient Movement, and Alignment. She uses these principles to develop challenging, motivating and result driven classes. Come take a class and see for yourself!

Heidi Strong

Studio Owner & Pilates Instructor
 
I opened Pilates Napa Valley in April 2007 after completing the 450-hour intensive Pilates comprehensive apparatus certification through the Physical Mind Institute method. I was inspired by the immediate changes in my own body after practicing three times a week for only one month myself, and chose to shift gears from my 25-year graphic design career, and learn to teach Pilates. I love training my clients of all ages and fitness level, and watching their bodies and lives change through Pilates, just as mine did. 
 
This class is for intermediate to advanced existing clients that have attended 15 or more classes with us. Fast-paced Pilates work on the Reformer with jumpboard, Tower and MVe Chair for 90-minutes without breaks or modifications. Not appropriate for beginners or those with injuries.
